Adverbs
Most adjectives usually end in –ly
Adverbs are used to show how the verb happened…
- The train arrived quickly
- Why is the cake being cooked slowly
- Enter the museum carefully
- Skiing was certainly the best part of the holiday
- She loudly stomped down the hallway
Adverbs Exercises:
Using verbs, add on –ly to create your own adverbs
Using your own adverbs, create your own sentences. Challenge yourself by adding extra information and opinions in the sentences to make them more detailed
