A real tuition centre behind the screen — established in Batley in 2007, now teaching Chemistry online to families across the UK and at British and international schools abroad, including Europe, Dubai, Singapore and Hong Kong.

What we offer

Online Chemistry tuition across the UK.

We focus on the stages where Chemistry becomes its own subject — GCSE, IGCSE and A Level — with KS3 support to build the foundations first. Every stage follows the British curriculum used in UK schools and at British and international schools abroad, taught live and one-to-one.

Choose the support that best matches your child’s stage:

GCSE Chemistry

Years 10–11

Online GCSE Chemistry

Combined Science and Triple Chemistry — from atomic structure and bonding to organic chemistry, with the required practicals and exam technique.

A Level Chemistry

Years 12–13

Online A Level Chemistry

All three strands — physical, organic and inorganic chemistry — with the required practicals and the exam technique to apply them under pressure.

Key Stage 3

Years 7–9

Online KS3 Chemistry

Particles, atoms, reactions and the periodic table — the secure foundations your child needs before GCSE Chemistry.

How online lessons work

Online, but never hands-off.

Equations, structures and mechanisms — taught properly over a screen. Here’s how.

Live, not recorded

A real tutor your child can talk to and ask questions of — never a video left to play alone.

A shared whiteboard

Calculations and mechanisms worked through together, line by line, exactly as on paper.

The tutor sees the working

We catch the exact step a calculation goes wrong — not just a final wrong answer.

01 / Who This Is For

Who online Chemistry tuition helps.

Parents looking for an online Chemistry tutor usually come to us when they notice one of these:

  • They revise hard, but the marks aren’t movingThe effort is there. The grades aren’t following.
  • The maths in Chemistry is the real blockerMoles, concentrations, rearranging equations, percentage yield and titrations throw them.
  • Organic chemistry feels like a different languageMechanisms, reaction pathways and naming all blur together.
  • No good tutor nearby — or no time to travelThe right specialist isn’t within reach, or the family is abroad. Online fits around school, clubs and family life.
02 / What May Be Happening

Same low mark. Different cause.

Two children can get the same Chemistry score for completely different reasons.

  • One may understand the chemistry but be blocked by the maths behind moles and calculations — rearranging, units, ratios.
  • Another may have a shaky grasp of bonding and structure, so later topics never quite hold.
  • A third may be lost in organic mechanisms and pathways — unable to see how one reaction leads to the next.

More revision guides won’t fix a problem we haven’t named yet.

03 / Free Assessment

Name the real gap before lessons begin.

The assessment is a short, guided Chemistry check — done online, over a shared screen, wherever your child is.

By the end, we can tell you exactly where the breakdown is happening — whether it’s the maths behind calculations, bonding and structure, organic mechanisms, or exam technique.

04 / How tuition follows

After the assessment, tuition follows the plan.

The assessment shows what to fix first. Your child’s DBS-checked tutor works from that plan — targeted lessons, not a generic worksheet pack.

  • Secure the foundations — bonding and structure, the maths behind moles and calculations, and the core content other topics build on.
  • Build exam marks — calculation questions, organic mechanisms, required practicals, and the confidence to attempt them.
05 / Before You Decide

What you’ll know by the end.

  • A clear picture of where your child is in Chemistry.
  • The specific topics or skills that need work first.
  • A recommended tuition plan — if it would actually help.
  • No pressure to continue either way.
06 / A Student’s Journey

From struggling with science to seeing it all the way through.

Where it started

Science was the subject he dreaded

Bilal came to us struggling especially with the sciences — the subjects he found hardest to get a grip on.

What changed

Mr Dabhad broke it down, step by step

Working with Mr Dabhad, QTS, every concept was explained clearly and broken down in a way he could actually understand — step by step, not skipped over.

Where he got to

Carried through GCSE and A Level

The same support saw him through both GCSE and A Level Sciences — not a one-off fix, but a relationship that lasted through the hardest exams.

“I struggled especially with the sciences, but Mr Dabhad helped me every step of the way. He explained concepts clearly and broke everything down in a way I could understand.”

07 / Questions

The questions parents ask most.

Does online Chemistry tuition actually work?

Yes. Lessons are live and one-to-one, not recorded videos. Tutor and pupil share a screen and a digital whiteboard, so equations, mole calculations, structures and organic mechanisms are worked through together in real time, exactly as they would be on paper. The tutor sees your child's working as it happens and corrects it on the spot.

What does my child need to join an online lesson?

A laptop, tablet or computer with a webcam and a stable internet connection is enough to start. A second device or a graphics tablet can help with writing out workings, but is not required. We send a simple link to join — there is nothing complicated to install, and we help you set up before the first lesson.

Can the tutor really see my child's working in Chemistry?

Yes, and this is the part parents worry about most. Through the shared whiteboard your child writes out calculations and mechanisms live, and the tutor watches the working unfold rather than just seeing a final answer. That is how we catch the exact step where a mole calculation or a mechanism goes wrong.

Is the free assessment online too?

Yes. The assessment is a short, guided online Chemistry check over a shared screen. There is no payment to book it and no obligation to take tuition afterwards. We use it to find your child's gaps and explain the clearest next step before any paid lessons begin.

Do you cover Chemistry within Combined Science as well as Triple?

Yes. We support Chemistry as part of GCSE Combined Science (AQA Trilogy and equivalent double awards) and as a separate GCSE in Triple Science. Online tuition is matched to your child's specification and tier.

My child struggles with the maths in Chemistry. Can you help online?

Yes, and it is one of the most common reasons pupils lose Chemistry marks. Moles, concentrations, rearranging equations, percentage yield and titration calculations all rely on secure maths. The online assessment identifies whether the barrier is chemical understanding or the underlying maths, and lessons target whichever is holding your child back.

How much does online Chemistry tuition cost?

Online GCSE Chemistry tuition starts from £14.50 per hour in a group of 4–5, £22.50 in a small group of 2–3, or £39.50 one-to-one. Online A Level Chemistry is £18.50 per hour in a group of 4–5, or one-to-one from £45 per hour — exact rate confirmed after the free assessment.
