01 / Who This Is For

Who IGCSE tuition helps.

You’re probably here because one of these sounds familiar:

  • The mocks just landedAnd the grades aren’t where they need to be.
  • Working hard but grades won’t budgeThe effort is there. The marks aren’t.
  • New to the British curriculumTransferred from another system and catching up to IGCSE expectations.
  • Time zone or distance makes finding a UK teacher hardWe tutor online across the Middle East, Asia, and worldwide.
  • The final year and time is tightWe build intensive plans around the weeks you have.
02 / What May Be Happening

Same low grade. Different cause.

You probably know your child is losing marks. The harder question is why — and the answer is rarely “not trying hard enough.”

  • They revise hard but the same kind of question keeps costing them marks — paper after paper.
  • They know the content but freeze on extended writing, source analysis or case-study response questions.
  • They run out of time in mocks, even when they knew the material when they sat down.

Which one is your child? You won’t know for sure until we look. That’s what the free assessment is for.

03 / Free Assessment

Know what’s holding them back before lessons begin.

A short, guided check. Online for families overseas, or in person at our Batley centre.

By the end, we can tell you:

  • Which subjects need work — and which are secure.
  • What’s actually causing the lost marks in each one.
  • What to fix first — not just where the marks are being lost.
04 / How tuition follows

After the assessment, tuition follows the plan.

The assessment shows what to work on first. Your child’s tutor works from that plan — tailored to their exam board (Cambridge, Pearson Edexcel, AQA, or Oxford AQA). All our IGCSE tutors are DBS-checked and teacher-supervised.

  • Fix the foundation first — the skills quietly costing marks across every paper.
  • Then build exam marks — spec-specific technique, case-study answers, source analysis, and the confidence to attempt every question.
05 / Before You Decide

What you’ll know by the end.

  • Which subjects need work, and which are secure.
  • The specific thing in each subject that’s costing marks — and what to fix first.
  • A recommended tuition plan — if it would actually help.
  • No pressure to continue either way.
06 / Questions

The questions parents ask most.

Which IGCSE subjects do you tutor?

Maths, English Language, English Literature, Combined Science (Co-ordinated), Triple Science (separate Biology, Chemistry and Physics), Business Studies, Economics, Religious Studies, History and Geography. Other subjects on request — just ask when you enquire.

Which IGCSE exam boards do you cover?

Cambridge International (CAIE), Pearson Edexcel, AQA International, and Oxford AQA. We confirm your child’s exam board at the free assessment, then tailor lessons to the specific specification.

What’s the difference between IGCSE and GCSE?

IGCSE is the international version of GCSE, used by British-curriculum schools worldwide and some UK independent schools. Content overlap is high, but exam formats and certain topics differ. We teach to the specific IGCSE specification your child sits.

Can lessons work across time zones?

Yes. We tutor families across the UK, the Middle East and Asia — including Dubai, Singapore and Hong Kong. Lessons are scheduled to suit your child’s local time.

Is the IGCSE assessment really free?

Yes. No payment to book, no obligation to continue. We find what’s costing marks, explain the next step — that’s it.

How do lessons work?

Lessons follow the assessment plan, not a generic past-paper pack. A qualified teacher guides the plan; our DBS-checked IGCSE tutors deliver each lesson. Pace is set by understanding, not a timetable.

How much does IGCSE tuition cost?

From £14.50/hr in a group of 4–5 · £22.50/hr small group of 2–3 · £39.50/hr one-to-one. Exact rate confirmed after the free assessment.

About your teacher

Mr G Dabhad — leading your child’s IGCSE preparation.

Whether your child is at a British school in Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong, or here in the UK, the IGCSE years carry the same pressure: bigger volume than the years before, higher stakes, and grades that feel like they decide everything. Often, the grades aren’t moving because something earlier never properly clicked — or because the family has moved between curricula and the foundations don’t quite match.

My approach is direct: find what’s actually holding them back. Fix that. Then layer in exam technique for the specific board your child sits — Cambridge, Pearson Edexcel, AQA, or Oxford AQA. The change parents notice first is rarely the marks — it’s when their child stops freezing on a question they used to give up on, and starts working through it instead.
